Honoring the Enslaved Community

Black History Month provides the Hermitage with a special opportunity to examine, explore, and share stories of its enslaved people to a wide audience. "African-American Contributions to Nashville" will serve as this year's theme of Black History Month programming at The Hermitage. Every Saturday during the month of February, The Hermitage will host events dedicated to bringing the often untold stories of these incredible individuals to life as part of our mission to Preserve, Educate, and Inspire.

These events will be FREE and open to the public.
