Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned Giving can be cash, stocks and securities, trusts, bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, real estate, or life insurance. Your financial advisor can assist you in designing a plan that may provide income for life, benefits for The Hermitage, and is most appropriate for your financial situation.

Consider Remembering The Hermitage in Your Will

The Hermitage is a not for profit organization and receives no on-going state or federal support for operations. We depend on philanthropic bequests and contributions to continue our mission to preserve, educate and inspire Americans about the life and times of this colorful hero.

Gifts of this type are generally directed towards endowment and last in perpetuity benefiting present and future generations. Your bequest to The Hermitage is exempt from state and federal estate taxes. If you contribute IRA or other retirement funds, your bequest is free of income tax.
